Selling Your Home


My job as your Realtor is to provide you with the best possible service during the sale of your house, from giving you expert advice during the early stages, to the careful monitoring of your closing.  It's important that you work very closely with me and t clearly state your needs.  In doing so the better I can serve you, saving you valuable time and many a headache.  A good first step is for you and I to devise a strategy for putting your house on the market.  As you formulate your plan of attack it is important that you let me know exactly what services you need and expect from me.  Other important items to discuss would include; learning how to set your asking price out to estimate the net proceeds from your sale, and how to get your house ready to sell.

Additional steps in selling your house:

  • Meet with your Realtor to determine your asking price and set up a plan of the maximum marketability of your property
  • Make necessary repairs and/or improvements to increase the marketability of your home
  • List your house at a realistic price
  • Allow your house to be easily shown to prospective buyers
  • Consider all offers and let your Realtor negotiate sales contract
  • Have all necessary inspections made
  • Stand by while the buyer is approved for final financing

Below is a list of things that I can do, as a Realtor:

  • Place your property in the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
  • Provide solid, up-to-date market information with the recent sales and current listings which will help you price your home properly
  • Show your home to potential buyer, whether you are at home or not
  • Provide pre-qualified buyer who know what they're looking for anyhow much they can afford
  • Showcase your house to its best advantage
  • Help negotiate a satisfactory sale
  • Lead you and the buyer through the maze of disclosures, inspections, rates, fees, and financing options
  • And most important, protect your interest from contract acceptance though the close of escrow
